This was the most horrible experience I have ever had. You were only allowed to go in your room after each meal to brush your teeth. You were only allowed three outfits to bring. The only time we were allowed outside was when they let the smokers out and we had to endure the smoke because it was a very small area. We never had one on one counseling. I was there because I tried to kill myself and I never had any counseling. The "doctors" and "nurses" and whoever would meet at the dining table and we were never asked to come over there. They decided our fate. Not to mention the food was horrible. Then they let me out, which I was scared they were not going to let me out, but I left worse than when I came in there. It is the most horrible horrible place.
I agree with google user, name not mentioned. This is a house of horrors. Medical and mental treatment is the worst. They falsify insurance claims on their patients. They force you take medicine and if you refuse, you are punished, by being strapped down and given medicine in a shot form. This is totally against State Law. They have one Dr. that has been there for over 20 years plus. He is as looney, as they come. This is the worst place to seek treatment. They run the place like it is still back in the 1950s. It does not deserve public funding. It deserves to be torn down due to its horrible past of abusing patients and even causing death.
well my name cassie Shelton ive been there. but my question is how yall gonna ask 4 questions and send a person back after telling them they just need anger management.my brother Bradley Shelton was sent there yesterday he tried killing hisdself. and yall turned him away instead of keeping him there atleast a week to try and helpi him. im disappointed in that cause now we have to watch him to make sure he don't do it.and
The staff was incredible . The facility was clean and secure . God bless you!!!
I know a lady that stayed there for years and her good level of care and treatment did her some good. She came out back into society just fine. In life and death situations this is always best because some patients might harm themselves or others.
